Wood Street Landfill

Established in 1984, Wood Street Landfill in DeWitt Township accepts trash from Granger residential and commercial trucks, Lansing-area municipalities and other hauling companies. Through a host community agreement signed in 2002, the landfill was expanded to its current size of 335 acres. Wood Street Landfill receives about one million cubic yards of trash each year, and is expected to reach capacity in approximately 60 years. At this time, Wood Street Landfill is not open for self-hauling.
