Granger Recognized for Regional Growth

On November 4, Granger was among seven companies in the greater Lansing area recognized at the 2009 Celebration of Regional Growth. The event, which was put on by the Lansing Regional Chamber, was in honor of companies who chose to locate and expand in mid-Michigan. In addition to receiving recognition at the event and a plaque commemorating the honor, Granger was featured in Assets: Greater Lansing's Portfolio for Growth. Granger was honored for its growth and innovation in the field of renewable energy.

According to Tim Daman, president and CEO of the Lansing Regional Chamber, "The businesses recognized at this year's Celebration of Regional Growth represent a microcosm of our region's economic greatness. They reflect our region's ability to build on our heritage and adapt to the changes brought by the emerging global economy."? Other organizations recognized during the event included General Motors, the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, Lansing Board of Water and Light, Green Stone Farm Credit Services, Jackson National Life Insurance Company and the Technology Innovation Center.
